Building on Land or Property / Accessed Land Without Permission
Are you experiencing a dispute where your neighbor has:
-
Built walls, buildings or other structures on land without permission?
-
Accessed land without permission?
-
Erected scaffolding in your garden, or on your land without permission?
Examples of cases resolved:
Case 1. We received a telephone call from a client to instruct us that her neighbour's builder had erected scaffolding in our client's front garden without her permission. We visited the site immediately and ensured that the scaffolding was removed the same day and compensation was subsequently obtained for our client.
Case 2. While a client was abroad, our client's neighbour entered our client's property to access his property to maintain it. The neighbour erected scaffolding without our client's permission in our clients garden and on his roof, causing damage to his cottage. We recovered the costs of repairs to the roof and compensation for the trespass on our client's property, to the satisfaction of our client.
Case 3. Our client's neighbour interfered with the structure of our client's wall, incorrectly claiming it was her wall. She altered its appearance, its structure and reduced its height so that she could see into our client's garden. Our client was distressed as his neighbour damaged the character of his property and invaded his privacy. We were instructed and obtained a court order to fully reinstate the wall at our client's neighbour's expense.
