Property Disputes & Land Ownership
Are you experiencing a dispute where your neighbour has threatened to, or :
-
Interfered with the location of your boundary walls, fences, structures, hedges, ditches or gateposts between your respective properties?
-
Altered a boundary wall or interfered with it to change its appearance?
-
Fenced off a part of land that does not belong to them?
Examples of cases we have resolved:
Case 1. Neighbours who were well known, and thought to be upstanding citizens of the local community, sought to take a part of our client's track and so limit access to her property by vehicles. The matter was resolved without the need for court proceedings, and the track was fully restored to our client.
Case 2. A new neighbour moved into property next to our clients' land, and interfered with our clients' gate post that was the entrance way to their home. The case was resolved for our client by ensuring that the original gate post was reinstated.
Case 3. A client purchased a semi-detached cottage with a 'right of way' across her neighbours' back garden and down the side of their home. The neighbours prevented our client's access across their property, and were abusive to our client. Following our instructions, the neighbours reinstated our client's right of way and stopped making abusive comments.
Case 4. A client owned a café with ventilation from their kitchen out through a duct in the wall, into an outside passageway. They also had access to the same passageway to put out their rubbish bins for collection. Neighbours sought to block the ventilation and interfered with our client's rubbish bins. Resolution involved successful court proceedings and the recovery of our client's legal costs.
