Parking
Has your neighbour:
-
Parked on your land, or parked on a shared driveway blocking access to your property?
-
Blocked your access to your home by parking across adjoining land?
-
Habitually taken a space allocated for your parking?
-
Tried to stop you from parking your car?
Examples of cases resolved by us:
Case 1. Clients owned a field adjacent to their property, a neighbour parked his scrapped cars and caravans on it. We were instructed and following legal proceedings, we ensured that the cars and caravans were removed.
Case 2. A client's neighbour insisted on repeatedly parking on a shared driveway, blocking our client's access to his garage. When approached, the neighbour insisted she had the right to park on the shared driveway. After we wrote to the neighbour, the parking on the shared driveway stopped and the dispute was resolved.
Case 3. A client experienced a neighbour harassing her and parking his van in the parking space allotted for her flat. After she contacted us, we dealt with the neighbour promptly and the harassment and parking problems stopped.
Case 4. Our clients' had a legal right to park their car in front of their property on a shared private road; there was no area on their own land where they could park. When the client came to sell the property, neighbours attempted to dispute their legal right, causing delays to the sale. We were instructed, the matter was resolved without a need for court proceedings, and the client was able to proceed with the sale of their home.
